Through the seas that touch the coasts of different countries such as Italy, France, Spain, Greece or Iceland. A journey across five continents.
These are some of the main lines of the Costa Cruises 2024 program announced by the Italian company. The itineraries, which can already be booked online or at an agency, will be available from Holy Week until the end of next year.
One of the great attractions is the Volta ao Mundo cruise, which will feature the majestic ship Costa Deliziosa. With departures announced in early December 2024, it makes stopovers in destinations as diverse as Tierra del Fuego, Polynesia, New Zealand, Australia and South Africa.
The duration is about a month, with the possibility of spending Christmas and New Year’s Eve on board, the latter in Rio de Janeiro.
In addition, Costa cf will offer three ships that will operate exclusively in the Western Mediterranean region on week-long voyages. There will be stops in Cagliari, Naples, Civitazzogna, Genoa, Palma de Mallorca, Ibiza, Savona, Marseille, Ajaccio and La Spezia.
In the eastern Mediterranean, Costa Deliciosa will cruise Venice, Bari, Taranto, Catania, Malta and the Greek islands of Santorini, Mykonos and Katakolone.
The Costa Favolosa, Costa Fascinosa and Costa Diadema ships will have priority in northern Europe, namely Kiel (Germany), Copenhagen (Denmark), fjords in Norway, Greenland, Iceland, England and Ireland. Sweden, Finland and the three Baltic states – Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania – are also part of the routes.
“In spring and autumn, we will also have three- and four-day mini-cruises in the western Mediterranean aboard Costa Pacifica and Costa Fascinosa,” Costa Cruises said in a statement. “In autumn, with Costa
Diadema and Costa Favolosa, passengers will be able to cross the Mediterranean Sea and beyond to visit the Canary Islands, in a two-week voyage”, he added.
Lisbon is included in the 10-day program, while the Azores will have a special spring tour.
Costa Cruises has seven decades of activity and a total of 11 ships, which focus on reducing the environmental impact through the use of LNG, considered the cleanest fossil fuel.
